The CIHS software apprentice team at MetaBronx
Education
Four times a year (Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer), a cohort of apprentices from different high schools and educational programs in NYC gather at MetaBronx to begin the 3-6 month journey during which they will learn the craft of innovation and entrepreneurship.
The learning happens by immersion. Once you're in the program, you become a collaborator at a startup, with the same kind of expectations that you will face when graduating from school and/or university to enter the workforce full time.
The photo shows the forming Software Team from Crotona International High School's senior Class of 2019 (the Platinums). This Fall and Winter we also have three students from the junior Class of 2020 (the Emeralds).
