Graffiti as a form of symbolism
During my time at MetaBronx through SYEP, I learned a lot about the importance of understanding the fundamentals of art, and how the basics of art such as gesture drawings, are crucial in advancing as an artist overall.
I also learned that there is significance in many different forms of art that can be meaningful and valuable, even outside of my favorite art form, music.
This experience helped me appreciate different ways of expressing creativity and showed me how learning the basics can help build stronger artistic skills. As a musician, being exposed to art in realism in general opens to me a new world of expression that can be captured throughout a collection of streaks and lines.
