Help save our SYEP
I joined the SYEP because you get to meet new people that you have never talked to before. You also learn new things that you never do, something that you have never heard of. The most exciting part is it helps you in the future.
SYEP is important to me and my family because it helps me get new experiences that make me more ready for college, and it means I will have money to save for my college.
What I would like to say to the mayor that announced that he is cutting the SYEP program this year is it is not good for the young people because at this moment they need him to help them be strong. We need to learn and have an open mind.
