My dad was able to get the whole 9-minute clip of the encounter and in all honesty, it turned my stomach. It was so hard to watch as he was pinned down and choked to death. Looking at him loses consciousness as the man KEPT pressing his knee against his neck. Only then when emergency responders confirmed that he had no pulse was the only evidence I knew that he died while detained. I can't believe that 6 years ago that someone similar was also detained and choked to death in my own city. Now it feels like we are moving nowhere because nothing is happening to change it.
