Annoying Fireworks

Do people use fireworks as their source of leisure time? Every 30 seconds at night my heart gets startled due to the constant booming of fireworks and its getting pretty annoying. It turns out that firework activity has not only been going on in New York, but in other states such as Minneapolis. What is the point of this? If anything its just adding on to the list of crime surges. A couple of days ago, there was a video of a man setting off fireworks on a homeless person. That was honestly very disgusting and disturbing and I hope that the homeless person is alright. If people are screwing around with fireworks every night for no reason, IMAGINE the amount of firework activity on the 4th of July. My mind can't even fathom how loud it would be that day.
