I recently discovered the artist Deana Lawson on a visit to the Guggenheim Museum on 5th Avenue in Manhattan. Her exhibit is in a gallery space on the top floor of the museum, which means that I had to walk through all the other galleries and exhibits before arriving at the top of the spiral.
She is the winner of a prize called the Hugo Boss prize that funded her works of art and exhibit in the Guggenheim.
