Memorial Day
The Day we remember our Veterans

Monday, May 31 2021 was Memorial Day. Memorial Day is an American holiday that honors the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. Memorial Day was originally known as Decoration Day which started in the years following the Civil War. Shortly after, the holiday officially became a federal holiday in 1971.
During World War I the United States found itself in a major conflict. The holiday commemorates American military personnel who died in all wars, including World War II, The Vietnam War, The Korean War and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Many cities and towns across the U.S.A celebrate Memorial Day each year with parades and many more.
I want to say Thank you to all veterans for the risk and sacrifices they made for my freedom. Thank you for your strength, dedication, power and will for this country's safety. Your service made it possible for the people in this country to be where they are today. Thank you for your Service.
