Haitian Revolution

In 1791, a slave by the name of Toussaint-Louverture Took control of the rebels and had a Vodou ceremony at Bois-Caiman. It is said that it was during the ceremony that Ezili Danto gave Haitians the strength to fight the revolution. This is also historically the starting point of the Haitian Revolution.
Ezili Dabot is the (Petwo) Mystere of Revolution, Black independence and Mother of Ayiti. After the ceremony The French were killed by the Thousands. While the French had Military grade weapons, The Haitian had rocks and barely any cannons. The revolution was labeled revolution "Koupe Tet, Brile Kay'' (Decapitate people and burn houses)
Houses were burned most of the time, with families still in them. Mothers, Children and Father were left in the burning homes to die.
