"The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is the United Nations body for assessing the science related to climate change."
The above chart source from Wikipedia shows "Average IPCC AR5 climate model projections for 2081–2100 relative to 1986–2005, under low and high emission scenarios." (By Efbrazil - Own work, CC BY-SA 4.0, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=87862027)
Driving to BASE this morning I heard an interview with a reporter named Jake Spring. He contends that many of the world's nations are lying about their emissions in the IPCC report that just came out this Spring.
Lying is a natural instinct that many animals use in the wild for self defense and survival. Humans are very good at it. However, this particular crisis requires us to develop other skills that will benefit the collective in order to mitigate the threats of global warming so that we can all share a better quality of life.
Some of those skills might be: cooperation, honesty, compassion.
