As Mehdi says in a follow-up piece on The Bulwark podcast (linked below), the video published by Jubilee on YouTube was edited in a way that would pass YouTube's filters: "I can't reveal what happened in terms of the taping and editing". So in reality the participants said much worse things, especially outright heavily racist and antisemitic comments.
At least the situation is now crystal clear: after being soundly defeated 80 years ago in 1945 (Germany, Japan, Italy), fascism is back in a 21st century form, rapidly amplified and globalized by digital communications technology.
It's not older folks, it's teenagers and 20-somethings.
Of course Jubilee Media is a master of clickbait and the entire show is designed to generate lots of views so the more extreme the participants, the better.
Nevertheless, these people are young, on television, rejecting democracy, and openly advocating for autocracy, theocracy, fascism, racism, and quoting Nazi thought leaders.
The participants are mostly white men, but there are some women as well, and a couple men whom the fascists would not consider white.
